How To Find Us
Port McNeill is a small community on northern Vancouver Island. To reach Port McNeill, follow the island highway north to Campbell River where highway 19 continues on up the island. Approximately 2 hours travel through some of the rich forest valleys of the north island brings you to the Port McNeill town entrance. Port McNeill is known as a resource community as well as the Gateway to the Broughton Archipelago. There are a variety of places to stay, including camping facilities to serve you during your visit. Port McNeill is also the departure point of the B.C. Ferry to Alert Bay and Sointula.
During your stay you can take in the beautiful scenery either by foot on a hike with North Island Daytrippers rent a kayak and paddle around the area, or you take a trip on one of our local whale watching boats.
